GOING PLASTIC NEUTRAL

At The Litterboom Project, we're dedicated to combating the global issue of plastic pollution.
Did you know that, on average, a person uses approximately 4 kg of plastic per month, totalling around 48 kg per year?
Going Plastic Neutral with The Litterboom Project
HOW DOES IT WORK?

Our Plastic Neutral Campaign operates on a powerful principle: for every unit of plastic used, we remove an equivalent amount from the environment. This ensures that your support has a tangible impact on reducing plastic pollution.

WHAT IS PLASTIC NEUTRALITY?

Plastic neutrality allows individuals and organisations to take responsibility for the plastic waste they generate. By offsetting the amount of plastic used with an equivalent amount removed from the environment, we achieve a balance where our plastic footprint has no net negative impact on the planet.

Your donation of just under R17 per kilogram goes directly to our interception teams, ensuring that every contribution counts towards intercepting plastic from our ecosystems and improving the health of our rivers and ocean.

Plastic Neutral for a month > R67
